- 3 Gimel. Ja, almal wat U verwag, sal nie beskaamd staan nie. Hulle sal beskaamd staan wat troueloos handel sonder oorsaak.
- 4 Dalet. HERE, maak my u weë bekend; leer my u paaie.
- 5 He. Lei my in u waarheid en leer my, want U is die God van my heil. U verwag ek die hele dag.
- 6 Sajin. Dink, HERE, aan u barmhartigheid en u goedertierenhede, want dié is van ewigheid af.
- 7 Get. Dink nie aan die sondes van my jonkheid en aan my oortredinge nie; dink aan my na u goedertierenheid, om u goedheid ontwil, o HERE!
- 8 Tet. Die HERE is goed en reg; daarom sal Hy sondaars leer aangaande die weg.
- 9 Jod. Hy sal die ootmoediges lei in die reg en die ootmoediges sy weg leer.
- 10 Kaf. Al die paaie van die HERE is goedertierenheid en trou vir die wat sy verbond en sy getuienisse bewaar.
- 11 Lamed. Om u Naam ontwil, HERE, vergeef my ongeregtigheid, want dit is groot.
- 12 Mem. Wie tog is die man wat die HERE vrees? Hy sal hom leer aangaande die weg wat hy moet kies.
- 13 Noen. Hy self sal vernag in die goeie, en sy nageslag sal die land besit.
- 14 Samek. Die verborgenheid van die HERE is vir die wat Hom vrees, en sy verbond om hulle dit bekend te maak.
- 15 Ajin. My oë is altyddeur op die HERE, want Hy sal my voete uit die net uitlei.
- 16 Pe. Wend U tot my en wees my genadig, want ek is eensaam en ellendig.
- 17 Sade. Die benoudhede van my hart is wyd uitgestrek; lei my uit my angste.
- 18 Resj. Aanskou my ellende en my moeite, en vergeef al my sondes.
- 19 Resj. Aanskou my vyande, want hulle is talryk, en hulle haat my met 'n gewelddadige haat.
- 20 Sjin. Bewaar my siel en red my; laat my nie beskaamd staan nie, want by U skuil ek.
- 21 Tau. Laat vroomheid en opregtheid my bewaar, want U verwag ek.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
