- 1 Се, Дамаск возмется от градов и будет в падение.
- 2 Оставлен в век, в ложе стадам и в покой, и не будет отгоняяй.
- 3 И ксему не будет укреплен, еже вбегнути тамо Ефрему: и ксему не будет царство в Дамасце, и останок Сирян погибнет: неси бо ты лучший от сынов Израилевых и славы их: сия глаголет Господь Саваоф.
- 4 Будет в той день помрачение славы Иаковли, и тучная славы его потрясутся.
- 5 И будет, якоже аще кто собирает жатву стоящую, и семя класов пожинает: и будет, якоже аще кто собирает класы в дебри Тверде.
- 6 И останется в ней стеблие, или аки зерна маслична две или три на версе высоце, или четыре или пять на ветвии ея останут: сия глаголет Господь Бог Израилев.
- 7 В той день уповая будет человек на Сотворшаго и, и очи его ко Святому Израилеву воззрят,
- 8 и не будут уповающе на требища, ниже на дела рук своих, яже сотвориша персты их, и не будут смотрити на Дубравы, ниже на мерзости их.
- 9 В той день будут гради твои оставлени, якоже оставиша Аморрее и Евее от лица сынов Израилевых: и будут пусти,
- 10 зане оставил еси Бога спаса твоего и Господа помощника твоего не помянул еси: сего ради насадиши сад неверен и семя неверно.
- 11 В оньже бо день аще насадиши, прельстишися: а еже аще заутра посееши, то процветет на жатву, во оньже день наследиши, и аки отец человечь наследие даси сыном твоим.
- 12 О, люте множеству языков многих! Аки море волнующееся, тако смятетеся, и хребет языков многих яко вода возшумит:
- 13 аки вода многа языцы мнози, аки (шум) воды многия нуждею носимыя: и отвержет его и далече поженет его, аки прах плевный веющих противу ветра, и яко прах колесный буря возносящая.
- 14 К вечеру, и будет плачь: прежде заутрия, и не будет: сия часть пленивших ны, и жребий наследивших нас.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
