- 5 Vi have nemlig befundet denne Mand at være en Pest og at vække Oprør iblandt alle Jøder, som ere over hele Verden, samt at være Formand for de Nazaræers Sect,
- 6 hvilken endog haver forsøgt at vanhellige Templet; hvorfor vi og grebe ham og vilde have dømt ham efter vor Lov.
- 7 Men Øversten Lysias kom til og borttog ham med megen Vold af vore Hænder,
- 8 og bød hans Anklagere komme til dig. Af ham kan du og selv, naar du undersøger det, erfare alt det, hvorfor vi anklage ham.
- 9 Men Jøderne stemmede i med og sagde, at dette havde sig saaledes.
- 10 Men Paulus svarede, der Landshøvdingen gav ham et Vink, at han skulde tale: Efterdi jeg veed, at du haver i mange Aar været en Dommer iblandt dette Folk, vil jeg des frimodigere forsvare min Sag.
- 11 Du kan faae at vide, at det er ikke mere end tolv Dage, siden jeg kom op for at tilbede i Jerusalem.
- 12 Og hverken i Templet have de fundet mig i Ordvexel med Nogen, eller at gjøre Oprør iblandt Folket, ei heller i Synagogerne, ei heller i Staden.
- 13 De kunne ei heller bevise det, som de nu anklage mig for.

- 18 Herved fandt nogle Jøder fra Asien mig, der jeg blev renset i Templet, uden Opløb og uden Larm.
- 19 Disse burde være tilstede for dig og klage, om de have Noget imod mig.
- 20 Eller lad disse selv sige, om de have fundet nogen Uret hos mig, da jeg stod for Raadet,
- 21 uden det maatte være dette ene Ord, som jeg raabte, der jeg stod iblandt dem: jeg dømmes idag af Eder for de Dødes Opstandelse.

- 25 Men der han talede om Retfærdighed og Afhold og den tilkommende Dom, blev Felix forfærdet og svarede: gak bort denne Gang; men naar jeg faaer bedre Tid, vil jeg lade dig kalde til mig.
- 26 Tilmed haabede han og, at Paulus skulde give ham Penge, for at han skulde lade ham løs; derfor lod han ham og des oftere kalde frem og talede med ham.
- 27 Men der to Aar vare forløbne, fik Felix Porcius Festus til Efterfølger; og da Felix vilde fortjene Tak af Jøderne, lod han Paulus bunden efter sig.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
