- 1 SIGNORE, tu sei il mio Dio, io ti esalterò; io celebrerò il tuo Nome; perciocchè tu hai fatte cose maravigliose; i tuoi consigli, presi da lungo tempo, son verità e fermezza.
- 2 Perciocchè tu hai ridotte le città in mucchi, le città forti in ruine, le città in castelli di stranieri; giammai più non saranno riedificate.
- 3 Perciò, popoli possenti ti glorificheranno; città di nazioni forti ti temeranno.
- 4 Perciocchè tu sei stato fortezza al povero, fortezza al bisognoso, nella sua distretta; ricetto dall’inondazione, ombra contro all’arsura; perciocchè l’ira dei violenti è come un’inondazione che percuote un muro.
- 5 Tu abbasserai il tumulto degli stranieri, come un ardore in luogo arido; come un ardore, con l’ombra d’una nuvola; il canto de’ violenti sarà umiliato.
- 6 E il Signor degli eserciti farà a tutti i popoli, in questo monte, un convito di vivande grasse, un convito d’ottimi vini; di vivande grasse, piene di midolla; d’ottimi e finissimi vini.
- 7 E dissiperà in questo monte il disopra della coverta, che è posta sopra tutti i popoli, e il velame che è steso sopra tutte le nazioni.
- 8 Egli abisserà la morte in eterno; e il Signore Iddio asciugherà le lagrime d’in su ogni faccia, e torrà via l’onta del suo popolo d’in su la terra; perciocchè il Signore ha parlato.
- 9 E si dirà in quel giorno: Ecco, questo è il nostro Dio; noi l’abbiamo aspettato, egli ci salverà: questo è il Signore; noi l’abbiamo atteso; noi trionferemo, e ci rallegreremo nella sua salute.
- 10 Perciocchè la mano del Signore riposerà sopra questo monte; e Moab sarà trebbiato sotto lui, come si trebbia la paglia per farne del letame.
- 11 Ed egli stenderà le sue mani in mezzo di esso, come chi nuota stende le mani per nuotare; ed abbasserà la sua alterezza, co’ colpi rovesci delle sue mani.
- 12 Ed abbasserà, abbatterà, gitterà a terra, fin nella polvere, la fortezza delle tue alte mura, o Moab.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
