- 1 Haw' vaD safety, SoH puqpu' vo' Benjamin, pa' vo' the midst vo' Jerusalem, je blow the trumpet Daq Tekoa, je raise Dung a signal Daq Beth Haccherem; vaD mIghtaHghach looks vo' vo' the pemHov nIH, je a Dun QIH.
- 2 The comely je delicate wa', the puqbe' vo' Zion, DichDaq jIH pe' litHa'.
- 3 Shepherds tlhej chaj flocks DIchDaq ghoS Daq Daj; chaH DIchDaq pitch chaj tents Daq Daj Hoch around; chaH DIchDaq feed Hoch Daq Daj Daq.
- 4 ghuH veS Daq Daj; Hu', je chaw' maH jaH Dung Daq DungluQ. Woe Daq maH! vaD the jaj declines, vaD the shadows vo' the evening 'oH stretched pa'.
- 5 Hu', je chaw' maH jaH Dung Sum ram, je chaw' maH Qaw' Daj palaces.
- 6 vaD thus ghajtaH joH'a' vo' Armies ja'ta', pe' bIng Sormey, je chuH Dung a mound Daq Jerusalem: vam ghaH the veng Daq taH visited; ghaH ghaH wholly oppression Daq the midst vo' Daj.
- 7 As a QaQ casts vo' its bIQmey, vaj ghaH casts vo' Daj mIghtaHghach: violence je QIH ghaH Qoyta' Daq Daj; qaSpa' jIH continually ghaH sickness je QIDpu'ghachmey.
- 8 taH instructed, Jerusalem, lest wIj qa' taH alienated vo' SoH; lest jIH chenmoH SoH a desolation, a puH ghobe' inhabited.
- 9 Thus jatlhtaH joH'a' vo' Armies, chaH DIchDaq thoroughly glean the chuv vo' Israel as a vine: tlhe' again lIj ghop as a grape gatherer Daq the baskets.
- 10 Daq 'Iv DIchDaq jIH jatlh je testify, vetlh chaH may Qoy? yIlegh, chaj qogh ghaH uncircumcised, je chaH ta'laHbe' 'Ij: yIlegh, the mu' vo' joH'a' ghaH moj Daq chaH a reproach; chaH ghaj ghobe' tIv Daq 'oH.
- 11 vaj jIH 'oH teblu'ta' vo' the QeHpu' vo' joH'a'; jIH 'oH Doy' tlhej holding Daq: pour 'oH pa' Daq the puqpu' Daq the street, je Daq the yej vo' Qup loDpu' tay'; vaD 'ach the loDnal tlhej the taH'nal DIchDaq be tlhappu', the aged tlhej ghaH 'Iv ghaH teblu'ta' vo' jajmey.

- 16 Thus jatlhtaH joH'a', Qam Daq the Hemey je legh, je tlhob vaD the qan Hemey, nuqDaq ghaH the QaQ way; je yIt therein, je SoH DIchDaq tu' leS vaD lIj qa'pu': 'ach chaH ja'ta', maH DichDaq ghobe' yIt therein.
- 17 jIH cher watchmen Dung SoH, ja'ta', 'Ij Daq the wab vo' the trumpet; 'ach chaH ja'ta', maH DichDaq ghobe' 'Ij.
- 18 vaj Qoy, SoH tuqpu', je Sov, tay' ghotpu', nuq ghaH among chaH.
- 19 Qoy, tera': yIlegh, jIH DichDaq qem mIghtaHghach Daq vam ghotpu, 'ach the baQ vo' chaj thoughts, because chaH ghaj ghobe' listened Daq wIj mu'mey; je as vaD wIj chut, chaH ghaj rejected 'oH.
- 20 Daq nuq purpose choltaH pa' Daq jIH frankincense vo' Sheba, je the sweet cane vo' a Hop Hatlh? lIj meQqu'pu' nobmey 'oH ghobe' acceptable, ghobe' lIj nobmey pleasing Daq jIH.
- 21 vaj thus jatlhtaH joH'a', yIlegh, jIH DichDaq lay stumbling blocks qaSpa' vam ghotpu; je the vavpu' je the puqloDpu' tay' DIchDaq stumble Daq chaH; the jIl je Daj friend DIchDaq chIlqu'.
- 22 Thus jatlhtaH joH'a', yIlegh, a ghotpu choltaH vo' the pemHov nIH Hatlh; je a Dun Hatlh DIchDaq taH stirred Dung vo' the uttermost parts vo' the tera'.
- 23 chaH lay 'uch Daq bow je spear; chaH 'oH cruel, je ghaj ghobe' pung; chaj ghogh roars rur the biQ'a', je chaH ride Daq horses, Hoch cher Daq array, as a loD Daq the may', Daq SoH, puqbe' vo' Zion.

Active Persistent Session:
To use a different persistent session key, simply add it above, and click the button below.
How This All Works
Your persistent session key, together with your favourite verse, authenticates you. It links to all your notes and tags in the Bible. You can share it with loved ones so they can see your notes and tags.
However, to modify your notes and tags, you need both the persistent session key and your favourite verse.
Please Keep Your Favourite Verse Private
Your persistent session key and favourite verse provide you exclusive access to edit your notes and tags. Think of your persistent session key as a username and your favourite verse as a password. Therefore, ensure your favourite verse is kept private.
The persistent session key allows viewing, while editing is only possible when the correct favourite verse is provided.

2006-10-25(tlh)
Hegh tI, 'ej ngab tI naH,
'ach reH taHtaH joH'a'ma' mu'
The grass withers, the flower fades;
but the word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8
A project of the Universal Translator Assistant Project (http://www.mrklingon.org) the Klingon Language Version is an experimental relexification of the WEB. It is not properly a translation, but a demonstration of what a tlhIngan Hol (Klingon Language) Bible would look like.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
We're united in our mission to preserve the integrity and authenticity of the Bible text. If you have questions or require additional information, please use our support system. We're here to assist and will respond promptly.
Thank you for your understanding and for being an integral part of the getBible community.
