- 1 Whakarongo, e nga motu, ki ahau; kia whai whakaaro, e nga iwi o tawhiti; na Ihowa ahau i karanga, no te kopu mai ano; no nga whekau o toku whaea i whakahua ai ia i toku ingoa.
- 2 A meinga iho e ia toku mangai hei hoari koi; huna ana ahau e ia ki te taumarumarunga iho o tona ringa; a meinga ana ahau e ia hei pere kua oti te oro; kuhua ana ahau e ia ki tana papa pere.
- 3 I mea ano ia ki ahau, Ko koe taku pononga; ko Iharaira, mau ka whai kororia ai ahau.
- 4 Ko ahau ia i mea, Maumau mauiui noa ahau, he kore noa iho, he tekateka noa i whakapaua ai e ahau toku kaha; raia, kei a Ihowa he whakawa moku, kei toku Atua hoki he wahi maku.
- 5 Na akuanei, e ai ta Ihowa, nana nei ahau i whakaahua i te kopu hei tangata mana, hei whakahoki mai i a Hakopa ki a ia, kia kohikohia ai a Iharaira ki a ia; ka nui hoki ahau ki te aroaro o Ihowa, ko toku Atua hoki hei kaha moku;
- 8 Ko te kupu tenei a Ihowa: No te ra manakohanga atu i whakahoki kupu ai ahau ki a koe, no te ra whakaora hoki i awhinatia ai koe e ahau; maku ano koe e tiaki, ka hoatu ano koe e ahau hei kawenata mo te iwi, hei whakaara i te whenua, hei mea kia no hoia nga kainga tupu kua ururuatia;
- 11 A ka waiho e ahau oku maunga katoa hei ara, ka whakateiteitia hoki oku huanui.
- 14 Otiia i mea a Hiona, Kua whakarerea ahau e Ihowa, kua wareware ahau i toku Ariki.
- 17 Ka hohoro au tamariki; ka haere atu i roto i a koe ou kaiwawahi, ou kaiwhakamoti.
- 18 Tahuri ake ou kanohi a karapoi noa, titiro hoki; ka huihui katoa ena, ka haere mai ki a koe. E ora ana ahau, e ai ta Ihowa, ina, ka kakahu koe i a ratou, ano he mea whakapaipai, ka herehere hoki i a ratou ki a koe, kei nga mea o te wahine marena hou te rite.
- 19 Na, ko ou wahi ururua, ko ou wahi kua tuheatia me tou whenua kua huna, he pono ka kopiri rawa koe mo nga kainoho, a ka matara atu ou kaiwhakamoti.
- 20 Ko nga tamariki i whakapania ai koe, tera ano ratou e mea ki ou taringa, E kiki ana te wahi nei moku: whakawateatia atu, kia noho ai ahau.
- 21 A ka mea koe i tou ngakau, Na wai enei i whanau ai ki ahau, kua whakakorea nei aku tamariki i ahau, he moke, he parau, he kopikopiko nei ahau? na wai ra enei i whakatupu ake? Nana, i waiho mokemoke ahau: ko enei, i hea ra enei?

To use a different persistent session key, simply add it above, and click the button below.
How This All Works
Your persistent session key, together with your favourite verse, authenticates you. It links to all your notes and tags in the Bible. You can share it with loved ones so they can see your notes and tags.
However, to modify your notes and tags, you need both the persistent session key and your favourite verse.
Please Keep Your Favourite Verse Private
Your persistent session key and favourite verse provide you exclusive access to edit your notes and tags. Think of your persistent session key as a username and your favourite verse as a password. Therefore, ensure your favourite verse is kept private.
The persistent session key allows viewing, while editing is only possible when the correct favourite verse is provided.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
We're united in our mission to preserve the integrity and authenticity of the Bible text. If you have questions or require additional information, please use our support system. We're here to assist and will respond promptly.
Thank you for your understanding and for being an integral part of the getBible community.
