- 1 Ary Abrama dia niakatra niala tany Egypta, dia izy sy ny vadiny mbamin’ ny fananany rehetra, ary Lota koa niaraka taminy, ho any amin’ ny tany atsimo.
- 2 Ary Abrama nanana harena be, dia omby aman’ ondry sy volafotsy ary volamena.
- 3 Ary mbola nandeha ihany izy ka nifindrafindra hatrany amin’ ny tany atsimo ka hatrany Betela, izay niorenan’ ny lainy tamin’ ny voalohany, teo anelanelan’ i Betela sy Ay,
- 4 dia teo amin’ ny tany izay nisy ilay alitara nataony tamin’ ny voalohany; ary dia niantso ny anaran’ i Jehovah teo Abrama.
- 5 Ary Lota koa, izay niara-nandeha tamin’ i Abrama, dia mba nanana ondry sy omby sy lay.
- 6 Ary tsy omby azy roa lahy ny tany hiraisany monina; fa efa be ny fananany, ka tsy nahazo niray monina izy.
- 7 Dia niady ny mpiandry ombin’ i Abrama sy ny mpiandry ombin’ i Lota; ary ny Kananita sy ny Perizita no tompon-tany tao Kanana fahizay.
- 8 Ary hoy Abrama tamin’ i Lota: Aoka re mba tsy hisy ady amintsika roa lahy, na amin’ ny mpiandry ombiko sy ny mpiandry ombinao, fa mpirahalahy isika.
- 9 Moa tsy eo anoloanao va ny tany rehetra? Masìna ianao, aoka hisaraka amiko ianao; raha hianavaratra ianao, dia hianatsimo aho; fa raha hianatsimo ianao, dia hianavaratra kosa aho.
- 10 Ary Lota nanopy ny masony ka nitazana ny tany rehetra teny amoron’ i Jordana hatrany akaikin’ i Zoara, fa azon-drano avokoa izy rehetra (talohan’ ny nandravan’ i Jehovah an’ i Sodoma sy Gomora izany), tahaka ny sahan’ i Jehovah sy tahaka ny tany Egypta.
- 11 Dia nofidin’ i Lota ho azy ny tany rehetra amoron’ i Jordana, ka nifindra niantsinanana izy; ka dia nisaraka izy roa lahy.
- 12 Ary Abrama nonina tao amin’ ny tany Kanana, fa Lota kosa nonina tao an-tanàna amin’ ny tany amoron’ i Jordana ka nifindrafindra toby hatrany Sodoma.
- 13 Ary ny mponina tao Sodoma dia tena ratsy fanahy sady mpanota indrindra tamin’ i Jehovah.
- 14 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Abrama taorian’ ny nisarahan’ i Lota taminy ka nanao hoe: Atopazy ny masonao, ka hatramin’ ity tany itoeranao ity dia mitazana mianavaratra sy mianatsimo ary miantsinanana sy miankandrefana;
- 15 fa ny tany rehetra izay tazanao dia homeko anao sy ny taranakao mandrakizay.
- 16 Ary hataoko maro tahaka ny vovo-tany ny taranakao; koa raha misy olona mahisa ny vovo-tany, dia ho azo isaina koa ny taranakao.
- 17 Miaingà ianao, mandehana mitety ny tany, dia any amin’ ny lavany sy any amin’ ny sakany; fa homeko anao izy.
- 18 Ary Abrama nifindrafindra toby, dia nandeha ka nonina teo an-kazo terebintan’ i Mamre, izay any Hebrona, ary nanorina alitara teo ho an’ i Jehovah izy.

To use a different persistent session key, simply add it above, and click the button below.
How This All Works
Your persistent session key, together with your favourite verse, authenticates you. It links to all your notes and tags in the Bible. You can share it with loved ones so they can see your notes and tags.
However, to modify your notes and tags, you need both the persistent session key and your favourite verse.
Please Keep Your Favourite Verse Private
Your persistent session key and favourite verse provide you exclusive access to edit your notes and tags. Think of your persistent session key as a username and your favourite verse as a password. Therefore, ensure your favourite verse is kept private.
The persistent session key allows viewing, while editing is only possible when the correct favourite verse is provided.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
We're united in our mission to preserve the integrity and authenticity of the Bible text. If you have questions or require additional information, please use our support system. We're here to assist and will respond promptly.
Thank you for your understanding and for being an integral part of the getBible community.
