    Revelation 19
    • 1   А після сього чув я наче грімкий голос великого народу в небі, що казав: Алилуя! Спасеннє і слава і честь і сила Господові Богу нашому;
    • 2   правдиві бо і праведні суди Його, що осудив велику блудницю, котра псувала землю блудодїяннєм своїм; і помстив кров слуг своїх од руки її.
    • 3   І сказали у друге: Алилуя! а дим її сходить на вічні віки.
    • 4   І впали двайцять і чотири старцї, і чотири животні, і поклонились Богу, сидячому на престолї, глаголючи: Амінь! Алилуя!
    • 5   А з престола вийшов голос і глаголав: Хвалїте Бога нашого, всї слуги Його, і боящі ся Його, і малі і великі.
    • 6   І чув я наче голос народу великого, і наче голос многих вод, і наче голос сильних громів, що казали: Алилуя! обняв бо царство Господь Бог Вседержитель.
    • 7   Радуймо ся і веселїмо ся, і даймо славу Йому; прийшло бо весїллє Агнця, і жена Його приготовила себе.
    • 8   І дано їй, щоб з'одягла ся у виссон чистий і сьвітлий; виссон бо оправданнє сьвятих.
    • 9   І рече менї: напиши: Блаженні, хто покликаний на вечерю весілля Агнцевого. І рече менї: сї слова Божі правдиві.
    • 10   І впав я до ніг його, поклонитись йому; і рече менї: Нї, глянь, я слуга-товариш твій і батьків твоїх, що мають сьвідченнє Ісусове. Богу кланяй ся; сьвідченнє бо Ісусове - дух пророцтва.
    • 11   І бачив я відчинене небо, і ось, кінь білий, а що сидїв на ньому, Того зовуть Вірним і Правдивим, а судить Він і воює до правдї.
    • 12   Очі ж у Нього, як огняна поломінь, а на голові Його много корон; а мав Він імя написане, котрого нїхто не знав, як тільки Він сам.
    • 13   А з'одягнений Він в одежу, закрашену кровю, а ймя Його зоветь ся: Слово Боже.
    • 14   А війська, що на небі, йшли слїдом за Ним на білих конях, з'одягнені у виссон білий і чистий.
    • 15   Аз уст Його виходить меч гострий, щоб ним побити поган; а сам Він пасти ме їх жезлом желїзним; і вам товче винотоку вина лютости і гнїва Бога Вседержителя.
    • 16   А на одежі в Нього, і на поясницї в Нього імя написане: Цар царів, і Пан панів.
    • 17   І бачив я одного ангела, що стояв на сонцї; і кликав він голосом великим, глаголючи усьому птаству, що літало посеред неба: Ходїть і зберітесь на вечерю великого Бога,
    • 18   щоб їсти тїла царів, і тїла тисячників, і тїла сильних, і тїла коней, і тих, що сидять на них, і тїла всїх вольних і невольних, і малих і великих
    • 19   І бачив я зьвіра, і царі земні, і війська їх зібрані, щоб воювати війну з сидячим на конї, і з військом Його.
    • 20   І схоплено зьвіра, а з ним лжепророка, що робив ознаки перед ним, котрими зводив тих, що приняли пятно зьвіра, і що покланялись образові його. Живцем вкинуто обох в озеро огняне, палаюче сіркою.
    • 21   І другі побиті мечем сидячого на конї, що виходив з уст Його; і все птаство наситилось тїлами їх.

Basic Hash Usage Explained

At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.

We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.

Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.

Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.

Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.

The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
