    2 Corinthians 11
    • 1   Ой коли б ви трохи потерпіли моє безумство! а таки потерпите мене.
    • 2   Бо я ревную про вас ревностю Божою; я бо заручив вас одному мужо-ві, щоб чистою дївою привести перед Христа.
    • 3   Бою ся ж, щоб, як змій Єву обманив лукавством своїм, так не попсувались думки ваші, (одвернувши) від простоти в Христї.
    • 4   Бо коли ж хто, прийшовши, иншого Христа проповідує, котрого ми не проповідували, або духа иншого ви приймаєте, котрого не прийняли, або инше благовісте, котрого не одержали; то ви були б дуже терпіливі.
    • 5   Думаю бо, що я нічим не зоставсь позаду передніх апостолів.
    • 6   Хоч бо я й неук словом, та не розумом; ні, ми знані у всьому між вами.
    • 7   Або гріх я зробив, себе смиряючи, щоб ви пійшли вгору, бо даром благовістє Боже проповідував вам?
    • 8   Од инших церков брав я, приймаючи плату, на служеннє вам;
    • 9   і, прийшовши до вас, та й бувши в недостатку, не був я нікому важким; бо недостаток мій сповнили брати мої, що прийшли з Македониї; та й у всьому я хоронив себе, щоб не бути вам важким, і хоронити му.
    • 10   (Як) істина Христова є в мені (так вірно), що похвала ся не загородить ся від мене в сторонах Ахайських.
    • 11   Чого ж? хиба, що не люблю вас? Бог знає (те).
    • 12   Що ж роблю, те й робити му, щоб відтяти причину тим, що хочуть причини, щоб чим хвалять ся, (у тому) показались як і ми.
    • 13   Бо такі лжеапостоли, робітники лукаві, прикидають ся апостолами Христовими.
    • 14   І не диво: сам бо сатана прикидаєть ся ангелом сьвітлим.
    • 15   Не велика ж річ, коли й слуги його прикидають ся слугами правди. Конець їх буде по ділам їх.
    • 16   Знов глаголю: щоб нїхто не вважав мене за безумного; коли ж ні хоч яко безумного мене прийміть, щоб хоч трохи менї похвалитись.
    • 17   А що глаголю, не глаголю по Господї, а мов би в безумстві, у сїй певноті похвали.
    • 18   Яко ж бо многі хвалять ся по тїлу, то й я хвалити мусь.
    • 19   Радо бо терпите безумних, розумними бувши.
    • 20   Терпите бо, як хто підневолює вас, як хто жере (вас), як хто обдирає (вас), як хто величаєть ся, як ганбе вас у лице.
    • 21   Робом досади глаголю, так ніби ми знемоглись. Коли ж у чому хто осьмілюєть ся (у безумстві глаголю), то й я осьмілююсь.
    • 22   Вони Євреї? І я. Вони Ізраїлітяне? І я. Вони насїннє Авраамову? І я.
    • 23   Христові слуги? (безумствуючи глаголю) я більше: В працях премного, в ранах без міри, у темницях пребагато, при смерти почасту.
    • 24   Од Жидів пять раз по сорок без одного прийняв я.
    • 25   Тричі киями бито мене, а один раз каменовано; тричі розбивав ся корабель, ніч і день пробув я в глибині;
    • 26   у дорогах почасту, у бідах (на) водї, у бідах (од) розбійників, у бідах од земляків, у бідах од поган, у бідах у городі, у бідах у пустині, у бідах на морі, у бідах між лукавими братами;
    • 27   у праці і в журбі, почасту в недосипанню, в голоді і жаждї, в постах часто, в холоді й наготі.
    • 28   Опріч того, що осторонь, налягав на мене щоденна журба про всі церкви.
    • 29   Хто знемогає, щоб і я не знемогав? Хто блазнить ся, щоб і я не горів?
    • 30   Коли хвалитись треба, то хвалити мусь тим, що від немочі моєї.
    • 31   Бог, Отець Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, будучи благословен на віки, знає, що я не обманюю.
    • 32   У Дамаску царський намістник Арета, стеріг город Дамащан, хотівши піймати мене;
    • 33   і віконцем у коші спущено мене по стїнї, і втік я з рук його.

Basic Hash Usage Explained

At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.

We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.

Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.

Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.

Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.

The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
