    Matthew 20
    • 1   Подібне бо царство небесне чоловіку господареві, що вийшов рано вранцї наймати робітників у виноградник свій.
    • 2   І, згодившись із робітниками по денарию на день, післав їх у виноградник свій.
    • 3   І, вийшовши коло третьої години, побачив внших, що стояли на торгу без дїла,
    • 4   і рече до них: Ідїть і ви у виноградник, і що буде право, дам вам, Вони й пійшли.
    • 5   Вийшовши знов коло шестої і девятої години, зробив так само.
    • 6   Вийшовши ж коло одинайцятої години, знайшов инших, що стояли без дїла, й рече до них: Чого тут стоїте увесь день без дїла?
    • 7   Кажуть вони йому: Бо ніхто не найняв нас. Рече він їм: Ійдїть і ви в виноградник, і що буде право, одержите.
    • 8   Як же настав вечір, рече пан виноградника доморядникові своєму: Поклич робітників, та роздай їм нагороду, почавши від останнїх аж до первих.
    • 9   І прийшовши ті, що коло одинайцятої години, взяли по денарию.
    • 10   Прийшовши ж перші, думали, що більше візьмуть; та взяли й вони по денарию.
    • 11   І взявши вони, нарекали на господаря,
    • 12   говорячи: Що сї останні одну годину робили, й зрівняв єси їх із нами, що зносили тяготу дня і спеку.
    • 13   Він же, озвавшись, рече одному з них: Друже, не кривжду тебе; хиба не за денария згодив ся єси зо мною?
    • 14   Візьми своє, та й іди: я ж хочу й сьому останньому дати, що й тобі.
    • 15   Хиба ж не вільно менї робити, що хочу, з добром моїм? Чи того твоє око лихе, що я добрий?
    • 16   Так будуть останнї перві, а перві останнї; багато бо званих, мало ж вибраних.
    • 17   І, йдучи Ісус у Єрусалим, узяв дванайцять учеників на самоту в дорозї, й рече до них:
    • 18   Оце ми йдемо в Єрусалим; і буде виданий Син чоловічий архиєреям, та письменникам, і осудять вони Його на смерть;
    • 19   і видадуть Його поганам, щоб з Него насьміхались, та били, та розпяли, а третього ж дня він воскресне.
    • 20   Тодї приступила до Него мати синів Зеведеєвих із синами своїми, кланяючись та просячи чогось у Него.
    • 21   Він же рече до неї: Чого хочеш ? Каже вона до Него: Скажи, щоб сидїли оці два сини мої, один по правицї Твоїй, а другий по лївицї у царстві Твоєму.
    • 22   Озвав ся ж Ісус і рече; Не знаєте, чого просите. Чи зможете ви пити чашу, яку я пити му, й хреститись хрещеннєм, яким я хрещусь? Кажуть йому: Зможемо.
    • 23   І рече до них: Ви то чашу мою пити мете, й хрещеннєм, яким я хрещусь, хреститиметесь; тільки ж, щоб вам сидіти по правиці в мене й по лївицї в мене, се не єсть моє дати, а кому приготовлено від Отця мого.
    • 24   І почувши десять, ремствували із двох братів.
    • 25   Ісус же, покликавши їх, рече: ви знаєте, що в поган князї панують над ними, й великі управляють ними.
    • 26   Не так же буде в вас: нї, хто хоче бути великим між вами, нехай буде вам слугою;
    • 27   і хто хоче між вами бути першим, нехай вам буде рабом,
    • 28   як Син чоловічий не прийшов, щоб служено Йому, а служити, й дати душу свою яко викуп за многих.
    • 29   І як виходили вони з Єрихона, йшло слїдом за Ним багато народу
    • 30   І ось двоє слїпих, що сидїли над шляхом, почувши, що Ісус переходить, кричали, кажучи: Помилуй нас, Господи, сину Давидів.
    • 31   Народ же сваривсь на них, щоб мовчали; а вони ще більш кричали, кажучи: Помилуй нас, Господи, сину Давидів.
    • 32   І, зупинившись Ісус, покликав їх, і рече: Що хочете, щоб зробив вам?
    • 33   Кажуть йому: Господи, щоб очі наші відкрились.
    • 34   Вмилосердив ся ж Ісус, і доторкнувсь очей їх, і зараз прозріли очі їх, і пійшли вони слїдом за Ним.

Basic Hash Usage Explained

At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.

We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.

Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.

Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.

Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.

The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
