    Matthew 9
    • 1   І ввійшов Він у човен, та й переплив, і прийшов у свій город
    • 2   Коли се принесено до Него розслабленого, лежачого на постелі; і бачивши Ісус віру їх, рече розслабленому: Бодрись, сину; одпускають ся тобі гріхи твої.
    • 3   Аж тут деякі письменники кажуть собі: Сей хулить.
    • 4   І знаючи Ісус мислї їх, рече: На що ви думаєте лукаве в серцях ваших?
    • 5   Що ж бо легше: сказати: Одпускають ся тобі гріхи, чи сказати: Устань, та й ходи?
    • 6   От же, щоб знали ви, що Син чоловічий мав власть на землі прощати гріхи, рече до розслабленого: Устань, візьми постїль твою, та й іди до дому твого!
    • 7   І, вставши, пійшов до дому свого!
    • 8   Народ же, бачивши се, дивував ся і прославляв Бога, що дав таку власть людям.
    • 9   І проходячи Ісус ізвідтіля, побачив чоловіка, на ймя Маттея, що сидїв на митниці: і рече донего: Йди слїдом за мною. І, вставши, дійшов слїдом за Ним.
    • 10   І сталось, як сидів Він за столом у господі, аж ось поприходило багато митників і грішників, та й посідали з Ним і з учениками його.
    • 11   І бачивши се Фарисеї, казали ученикам Його: Як се ваш учитель їсть із митниками та грішниками?
    • 12   Ісус же, почувши, рече до них: Дужим не треба лікаря, тільки недужим.
    • 13   От же йдїть та навчіть ся, що воно єсть: Милости хочу, а не жертви. Не прийшов бо я звати праведних а грішних до покаяння.
    • 14   Приступили тодї до Него ученики, Йоанові, говорячи: Чого ми та фарисеї постимо часто, а твої ученики не постять.
    • 15   І рече їм Ісус: Чи можуть весільні синове сумувати, поки з ними жених? Прийдуть же дні, що візьмуть од них жениха, тоді й постити муть.
    • 16   Нїхто не пришивав шматка нового сукна до старої одежини, бо відодреть ся його латка від одежини, й дірка буде гірша.
    • 17   І не наливають нового вина у старі міхи, а то міхи прорвуть ся, і вино витече, й міхи пропадуть; а наливають нове вино в міхи нові, то й буде все ціле.
    • 18   Говорить Він їм се, аж ось приходить один старшина, і, вклонившись Йому, каже: Дочка моя тільки що скінчилась; та прийди положи на неї руку твою, то й оживе.
    • 19   І вставиш Ісус, пійшов за ним, і ученики Його.
    • 20   І ось жінка, що нездужала кровотіччю дванайцять років, приступила ззаду й приторкнулась до краю одежі Його:
    • 21   бо казала сама собі: Як тільки приторкнусь до краю одежі Його, то спасусь.
    • 22   Ісус же, обернувшись і побачивши її, рече: Дочко, бодрись; віра твоя спасла тебе. І спаслась жінка з того часу.
    • 23   І ввійшовши Ісус у господу до старшини, та побачивши сопільників та голосїльників,
    • 24   рече до них: Уступіть ся: не вмерло бо дївча, а спить. І насьміхались із Него.
    • 25   От же, як випроваджено людей, та ввійшов Він і взяв її за руку, то дівча і встало.
    • 26   І рознеслась про се чутка широко по всій землі тій.
    • 27   І як вийшов Ісус ізвідтіля, ійшліо слїдом за Ним двоє слїпих, і, порикуючи, казали: Сину Давидів, помилуй нас.
    • 28   І, як увійшов у господу, приступили до Него слїпі; й рече їм Ісус: Чи вірувте ви, що я можу се зробити? Кажуть Йому: Так, Господи.
    • 29   Тодї приторкнув ся Він до очей їх, і рече: По вірі вашій нехай станеть ся вам.
    • 30   І відкрились їм очі. І заказав їм Ісус: Гледїть, щоб нїхто не довідавсь.
    • 31   Вони ж, вийшовши, розпустили про Него чутку по всїй землї тій.
    • 32   Як же вони виходили, ось приведено до Него нїмого чоловіка біснуватого.
    • 33   І, як вигнав Він біса, почав нїмий говорити; й дивувались люде, кажучи: Ніколи не явилось такого в Ізраїлї.
    • 34   Фарисеї ж казали: Виганяв Він біси князем бісовським.
    • 35   І ходив Ісус по всіх городах і селах, навчаючи по школах їх, і проповідуючи євангелию царства, й сцїляючи всяку болїсть і всяку неміч між людьми.
    • 36   Поглядаючи ж на людей, жалкував над ними, що були потомлені й розпорошені, як вівцї без пастиря.
    • 37   Рече тодї ученикам своїм: Жнива багато, робітника ж мало.
    • 38   Просіть Господа жнива, щоб вислав женців на жниво своє.

Basic Hash Usage Explained

At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.

We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.

Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.

Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.

Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.

The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
